I often feel that I wasted my four years at IIT. But I sometimes wonder if it was not a total waste.
In many of the courses I did, the math was so dense that you had no idea what was going on. For 90% of the semester, I would just be going through the motions like a zombie.
But the night before the exam, when you have no choice – you apply your mind to it.
And when you apply your mind, no matter how complicated the concept, it starts making sense.
And this applies to life in general. A lot of things appear hard because we haven’t applied ourselves to them.
No matter how difficult the challenge, once you put your mind to it, it becomes more doable. 90% of the struggle in life is just about getting started.
