Umbrella for stress

Early morning today, when I woke up, my head was buzzing with anxiety. It happens often but I was not too worried — I knew what to do next.

Within 10 minutes of commencing my meditation, I could suddenly sense my mind calming down — it felt like an engine switching off. 45 min later, at the first light of dawn, I felt ready to take on the day.

Life won’t be stress-free, just as monsoons won’t be rain-free — why not just get an umbrella?

Meditation is the umbrella for stress.
