If you are trying to prove yourself, there is bad news — this game has no endpoint.
There is no finish line at which you will feel, “Finally, I have proved myself — I can now rest easy.” Because no matter how much ‘proof’ you have accumulated, there will always be self-doubt. Your mind will always want more data.
We know ourselves far too well — especially our deficiencies, flaws, and insecurities. No amount of data will disprove anything 🙂
Instead of trying to be a ‘proven all-round perfect super-being’, be an imperfect striver.
Instead of trying to prove yourself, do something useful and fun — solve problems, do interesting work, take up hard challenges. Not to prove anything, but to live fully.
Tread life lightly — your self-worth is not a math theorem that needs a proof to feel validated.
