Fake action is not progress

A lot of people have gone to their graves with a ton of untapped potential. So what comes in the way of realizing that potential?

It is the wisdom fountain called the ‘Internet.’ And our tendency to confuse consuming that wisdom with real action. We love debating, seeking advice, listening to podcasts, searching for “the best way to do XYZ”, and so on. All these are fake actions.

This fake action feels like progress but it isn’t.

I am not saying you should not seek any information, but don’t get sucked into a black hole. Once you have some roadmap, act on it. Maybe, set aside half an hour a day, start your timer, and work on your goal.

In this age of excessive information and advice (including some of it coming from me), shift your focus to doing things.

Life is not that complicated. Set small goals and do it.

And don’t be the person who goes to the grave with too much untapped potential.

The time to tap it is now.
