9-to-5 jobs are not slavery.
Slavery is something that sucks your soul, energy, and hope but you can’t escape because you need the money, the brand, or some semblance of stability.
And this kind of slavery can come in any form — a full-time job, solopreneurship, entrepreneurship, or even freelancing. If you are not convinced, just ask any freelancer how easy it is to find clients, especially in the early days — some even feel trapped.
And sometimes, the problem is not even the job, but the fit — the same job may be slavery for one and a dream for another.
There is nothing per se wrong with jobs, entrepreneurship, or anything else — it is about finding the right place, the right people, and the right fit.
And when you find that fit, do a good job and be proud of it no matter how cool or uncool the world thinks your job is.
Did anyone ask you what you think of their job?
