Do Or Not

"Do. Or do not. There is no snoozing." - Inspired by Yoda.

When we plan to take any action, at the appointed time, we should give ourselves only the following options:

1. Act

2. Don't act, but accept that we are violating our self-commitment.

Don't give yourself the third option to do it ten minutes later (the 'snooze' option). This third option is the source of all procrastination.

It is so much better to be honest and accept that we are not going to act. At least we will feel the pressure to change something in our lives. And that is a good enough start.
